Portrait
photography is what Gary excels in. Being a portrait photographer
he operates from his portrait studio based in Leamington Spa,
Warwickshire. His client come from all over Warwickshire and
the West Midlands. Gary has a unique style that adapts to fashion
and keeps an eye on tradition. Contemporary Portraiture and
Classical Portraiture form the back bone of his current studio
work.
Life Style portraits and Adventure Portraits have been created
for his contemporary customers, whilst Signature Portraits have
been designed for his more Traditional and Classical minded
clients.

With
over 20 years of Portrait experience I have found that the best
way of looking good, looking natural and getting a good portrait
is to be yourself. I work on the you as a person. Too many photographs
will set the scene and take a picture. and get exactly that..
a picture. They miss the fact that there is a person in front
of them !
My approach is to capture the character of the subject. If I
can take a portrait of you or your children that looks natural
and captures your character you will have a portrait you can
hang on your wall and be treasured forever.

Children
are easy to photograph .. they act naturally |
Young
children are particularly easy to photograph as they have no
pretentious and act naturally. Child portraiture is fun .. and
so it should be!
If a baby or toddler are enjoying themselves you will get all
the smiles you want. However, smiles are not everything. During
a session I aim to get as many varied expressions as possible.
One of the best tips that I can pass on to any parent
is simple .. Involve yourself .. lead by example
... your kids will enjoy it.

Lighting
and props are obviously important to a good portrait but an
inner confidence is the key. My skills are in creating that
confidence. Most people are intimidated by the thought of having
a portrait taken, but with a little coaching you will find the
experience memorable.
My portraiture sells itself. I pride myself in not selling sub-standard
work.
Every Bride and Groom is offered a free studio portrait session
before their wedding,
to help gain confidence in front of my camera.
Do not judge me by other photographers standards
- judge me by my high standards - I am no ordinary Photographer.
